The implementation of the first stage of COVID-19 vaccination for health workers and health support personnel at the General Hospital of Hadji Boejasin Pelaihari, Tanah Laut, South Kalimantan, went well on Wednesday (Feb 3, 2021).

The vaccination is scheduled to be completed in 10 days from February 2, 2021, with a target of 60 recipients per day.

Head of Nursing Division Syafangat said that Hadji Boejasin Hospital is very ready to carry out vaccination, both in facilities and human resources.

“We have prepared a bed on the right side in case of symptoms after vaccination. The hospital also has a cold chain, so the standard temperature of 2-8 degrees for the vaccine can be met,” he said.

One of the vaccine recipients, Azizah admitted that she was nervous before receiving the vaccine and was finally grateful that the vaccination went well.

“Yesterday I was nervous, but when I checked blood pressure and body temperature it was safe. After that I was injected, alhamdulillah was safe," she said.

Another recipient Muhammad Syaifullah acknowledged he was thankful to be able to participate in the vaccination because he previously was not passed the health screening.

“It just a matter of blood pressure, incidentally mine was 140/90. Then I took a rest for a while, it's down. Alhamdulillah, I can be vaccinated,” he said.

Hadji Boejasin Hospital had received 1,174 of doses vaccine at the first stage. The vaccine will be sent again from the Tanah Laut Health Agency as needed before the second stage of vaccination.
