Martapura, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjar Resort Police, South Kalimantan, uncovered class-G drug which traffic banned and threat with a severe punishment.


Banjar Police Chief AKBP Daru Cahyono in Martapura on Tuesday said four suspects were arrested which role as dealer and croupier.

"Three suspects act as dealers and one croupier who sell illegal drugs," he said, accompanied by visible Chief Drug Investigation Juwarto.

The disclosure drugs network begins with an arrest of MD (26) at his home on Jalan Irigasi, Monday (3/11). Police confiscated 4,800 Carnophen from him as evidence and the case was developed to caught another suspect AL (27) with 210 Carnophen.

The arrest of the two suspects then developed and eventually officers nabbed other dealer initials ESY (30) with 1,000 Carnophen as evidence.

On information from the three suspects, officers on Tuesday (4/11) morning, searched a vacant home in Jalan Jahri Saleh, Surgi Mufti Village, Banjarmasin. The house was occupied by the suspect AJ (30) and after officers searched, they found 20 cartons of hard drugs Carnophen types, consisting of 4,000 boxes or 400,000 class G pill.

"Four suspects have been arrested in police headquater cells to undergo further legal proceedings and class G drug confiscated will be used as evidence in court," said Juwarto.

He said four suspects threatened severe punishment for violated Article 197 in conjunction with Article 106 paragraph (1) of Law No. 36 of 2009 on health.

"The threat of violations of the Act on the health is imprisonment of 15 years and a maximum fine of Rp1.5 billion," he said.
