Head of the agency Ikhsan Al-Haq here on Friday said the office has not yet opened the attractions, because it had not received a recommendation from the Task Force for Acceleration Handling of COVID-19.
Whereas the task force reported, only two red zones remaining in the city, while the fresh case is decreasing.
Meanwhile, preventive measures, such as preventing crowds in public places, including places of attractions, are still applied. "Especially the tourist objects in the city. This includes no activity at the floating market, which is usually occupied on Saturday and Sunday," he said.
Under normal conditions, around six thousand people visit the siring Martapura on Jalan Piere Tendean.
According to Ikhsan, the closure of the tourist attraction due to the COVID-19 pandemic is targeted until the end of the year but will be evaluated every month.
He acknowledged the significant influence on the economy due to the policy, but the main choice was of course to save the health of the people.
