Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Banjarmasin City's Criminal Detective (Reskrim) Unit arrested two youths for illegal gambling (togel) online, even one of them becomes croupier.
Chief of Central Banjarmasin Sector Police Commissioner Didik Subiayakto through Chief Reskrim Unit Ipda Budi Putra Guna revealed, the arrest of two suspects performed on Saturday night.
Two million rupiah also secured allegedly as online lottery gambling capital. "Also we seized one laptop and toggle formula sheet of paper," he said, Wednesday (24/9).
The arrest, Budi said, is the result of investigation to both suspect played a major role in the crowded online lottery gambling in Central Banjarmasin.
NP, one of the perpetrators, admitted playing togel on Lotus.com with dealers from Singapore and Hong Kong. It's been one month he earned from gambling online.
"They were both threatened with Article 303 of the Criminal Code that threat carried maximum of four years in prison, "he said.
"If you have this (go to jail), I repent not gamble anymore," said NP.
