Pelaihari, Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Tanah Laut (Tala) Resort Police arrested four robbers who distressed Asam-Asam Village, Subdistrict Jorong.


They are Anang alias Anis, Pelaihari resident, Supian Hadi aka Dayak, Banjarmasin resident, Sukarman alias Parman, Banjarmasin, and Irwansyah alias Iwan from Jorong.

"The four actors of two different robbery are quite sadistic, because they captived victims and bound mouth with duct tape," said Iptu Darso, Chief of Reskrim (Criminal Unit) Police on Tuesday (2/9).

Their first action was on August 17 in the village of Asam-Asam. They fled with some slop of cigarettes, money, and two mobile phones.

"Victims were tied and mouth taped. Incident around 04:00 am," he said.

Their second action was on August 26, in a different place around 03:00 am. Victims treated the same with first robbery.

"The victim was the owner of a large store in Asam-Asam. They robbed a motorbike, money, mobile phones and other valuables," he said.

The action of four robbers in the village of Asam-Asam was upsetting local residents, because they frequently assault victims with violence that cause injuries.

"As a result of their act, they threatened with criminal charges at least five years in prison. They are now in Tala Mapolres (police headquaters) detention for further legal process," said Darso.
