Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Banjarmasin City Government through the Civil Registry and Demography Agency (Disdukcapil) threaten to repatriate the migrants who do not have identity documents from their home villages.


Most of the 40 new entrants who do not have identity when exposed to Disdukcapil raids not comply with the agency's summon on Tuesday (19/8) then, Head of Banjarmasin Disdukcapil H Khairul Saleh told reporters in Banjarmasin on Sunday.

"Of the 40 entrants only 15 people who meet Disdukcapil summon," he said. He threatened to repatriate the remaining 25 people who were not willing to fulfill the summon.

According to him, all 25 entrants that do not have a good intention to stay in Banjarmasin, for the purpose of calling it simply asks bail stay in Banjarmasin.

Khairul explained that the security deposit amounting to Rp400 thousand, then government saved the money. If in a few months there is no steady job, the entrant sent home by using the guarantee money.

Supposedly, he said, 25 migrants who exposed to raid pay a guarantee. If they do not afford to pay the bail, then there are those who guarantee to keep them in the area, he said.
