Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - The National Narcotics Agency of South Kalimantan arrested two alleged couriers and interprovincial drug dealers and confiscated 247 ecstasy pills.
"The arrest was at Jalan Padat Karya, Anggrek Complex, Sungai Andai, North Banjarmasin, Wednesday (20/8)," said Head of BNN Chief of Eradication AKBP Sujono on Friday.
He suspects, the two men were players of interprovincial network. "Evidence of 247 ecstasy pills were seized from them," he said.
BNN now detained two the suspects namely Silfanur aka Ambon, Jalan Bali residents, and Mila, resident of Sungai Andai.
"We caught them after officers undercover to transact illicit goods from one of the suspects," he said.
Ambon were first arrested. After that Mila, owner of hundreds of illicit goods.
Both players could be subject to section 112 sub 114 paragraph (2) of Law No. 35 of 2009 on Narcotics, with the threat of a minimum of five years in prison.
