The Syamsudin Noor International Airport Management provides rapid test facilities to serve passengers and residents around the airport.

"The fee charge for the rapid test is Rp150,000 for a one-time test and the results to be known around 30 minutes," PTS General Manager of the airport Suriganata noted in a press release, Monday.

He said, the demand was quite high since the rapid test service was opened at the airport located in Syamsudin Noor Urban Village, Banjarbaru City.

On the side, the service was provided related to the flight requirement for each passenger according to the COVID-19 Task Force circular No. 9 of 2020.

"The rapid test service is a result of cooperation between Angkasa Pura I management and AP Support subsidiary with Syifa Medika Hospital and open every day starting Monday (July 27) at 07.00-15.00 WITA (Central Indonesia Time)," he said.

Health protocol is implemented at the service point, starting from officers conducting the test. They wear personal protective equipment from face shields, masks, gloves, and hazmat. While the service area are routinely disinfected.

"Not only officers must comply with the health protocol, the prospective passengers must also wash their hands and check their body temperature before entering the test area," he said.

The use of masks and maintaining physical distance are also enforced. Then register with an ID and fill out the form provided.

Then the rapid test participants can have their health to be checked by a doctor and blood sample to be taken. After all done, participants remain in the waiting room until the test results come out.
