PT Adaro Indonesia, who continues to participate in the effor to contain COVID-19 spread, handed over a donation of 58 thousand face-masks to the government of Barito Timur and Barito Selatan districts, Central Kalimantan, Thursday (June 11, 2020).


PT Adaro Indonesia's Government Relation Section Head Hairulah handed over the assistance to Regional Secretary Eddy Purwanto at the Barito Selatan (Barsel) Regent office in Buntok.

The district government of Barsel, who in the last two weeks actively conducting socialization to prepare the community to face the new normal, urgently needs assistance from various parties in order to implement the new policy.
 
Eddy said, face-masks are the main and fundamental requirement in carrying out health protocol for each individual when doing daily activities, especially before and when the new order is implemented.

“Alhamdulillah PT. Adaro Indonesia provides 28 thousand facemasks which are very useful yang to support the performance of task force and the community," Eddy said.

Meanwhile, in a different place, 30 thousand masks were handed over to Barito Timur District government through the local Health Office which was aimed to the community and the task force for handling of COVID-19.

Hairulah said that face mask assistance was an effort by Adaro to participate in anticipating the increasing epidemic of the COVID-19.

“Hopefully our assistance will be useful for the people in the two district to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission through the use of masks," he said.
