A total of 15 COVID-19 patients in South Kalimantan were declared cured after undergoing intensive care in various hospitals bringing the number of the recovered patient to 97 from a total of 893 cases.


The South Kalimantan government's Task Force spokesperson for the Acceleration Handling of COVID-19 HM Muslim announced on Saturday (May 30, 2020), in addition to 15 patients recovered, the number of patients died added by three to become 77.

The positive COVID-19 patients recovered were eight from Tanah Laut, one from Barito Kuala, three from Tapin, and three from Tanah Bumbu.

While three patients reported died on that day all from the city of Banjarmasin.

But today there were no additional cases of COVID-19, the number of patients remains the same as a day before, 893 people.

The distribution of COVID-19 cases by region, namely Banjarmasin 405 people. A total of 319 people were being treated, 22 had recovered, and 64 died.

Tanah Bumbu District remains 123 cases, with 114 people in the hospital, eight recovered, and one died.

Tanah Laut District 61 cases, 45 people in treatment, 15 recovered, and one died. Kotabaru has nine cases, eight in treatment, and one recovered.

Banjar District 106 cases, with a detail of 90 people being treated, nine recovered, and seven died.

Barito Kuala 79 cases, 74 people in care, four recovered, and one died.

While Tapin District has 41 cases, 37 people in treatment, three recovered, and one died.

Hulu Sungai Selatan (HSS) eight cases, three in treatment, four recovered, and one died.

The Central Hulu Sungai (HST) three cases, one in treatment, two recovered. Tabalong seven cases, one in care, six were declared recovered.

Balangan two cases, all had recovered. Banjarbaru City 44 cases, 23 in treatment, 21 recovered. North Hulu Sungai (HSU) five cases, four being treated, one died.

Currently there were 834 People Under Monitoring (ODP) and 185 Patients Under Surveillance (PDP), HM Muslim said.
