Mubadala Petroleum continues to ease the burden of the people by providing basic food packages in the midst of COVID-19 outbreak.
Together with the Upstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Taskforce (SKK Migas), the upstream oil and gas company distributed basic food packages to five provinces in Indonesia.
"As many as 1.450 food packages we had distributed in DKI Jakarta, East Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, and West Sulawesi during Ramadan 1441 Hijri. Especially in Aceh, we cooperated with the Aceh Oil and Gas Management Agency (BPMA) to distributed food packages in Banda Aceh, Pidie, Pidie Jaya, and Bireuen," said Mubadala Petroleum Indonesia Acting External Relations & Communications Manager Camelia Martini to ANTARA, Friday.

Food packages were distributed to the community around the Andaman and Sebuku operational area through the local government as a form of a synergy of Mubadala and SKK Migas in the hope that the distribution was carried out appropriately.
"In the distribution, we adhere to the health protocol to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 and provide a sense of security for beneficiaries," she said.
In the last Ramadhan, Mubadala also had distributed 2.700 iftar or breaking fast packages to orphanages, nursing homes, COVID-19 referral hospitals and community around the Mubadala Petroleum headquarters in Jakarta and Balikpapan.
Camelia added that the distribution of assistance was Mubadala Petroleum's annual routine activities in Ramadan as a concern for the community around the company's operational area.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19, SKK Migas had provided guidance to the oil and gas contractors (KKKS) to prioritize their CSR for the handling of COVID-19.
