Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - A total of 99,764 residents of Banjarmasin stated as a recipient of the Community Health Insurance (Jamkesmas) starting 1 April 2014 ago.
" All of the poor people now be listed as a participant of the National Health Insurance (JKN) can directly take the customer's mailing list Social Security Implementing Agency (BPJS) in each urban village (kelurahan), " said Head of Banjarmasin Health Agency, drg Hj Diah Ratnani Praswasti to reporters here on Thursday.
Generally they are included as participants of Contribution Recipient (PBI), the health costs borne by the Government.
According to the former deputy director of the Ansyari Saleh General Hospital Banjarmasin, mailing list of customers which have already published will be applied to the manufacturing process and delivery of BPJS cards completed. Recipients are entitled to health care in accordance with the standards and procedures of the services provided and specified in the rule.
She said, so far the number of residents in this city is included in the recipient's health insurance and get a blue card numbered 99,764 . Of that total , there are about 3,800 recipients, who have not received the same card. "If the data was broken yesterday , will get BPJS membership in the near future," she said.
Diah said she guarantee all poor people in the city will get free health care through a JKN program served by BPJS with premium fee paid by the government .
"As long as they are listed in the Central Agency of Statistics (BPS) as poor people, " she said.
