PT Pertamina EP Asset 5 Tanjung Field has provided assistance in the preparedness and handling of COVID-19 in Tabalong District in the form of personal protective equipment (PPE), masks to handwashing facilities.
150 PPE in the form of hazmat, 300 bottles of 50 ml hand sanitizer, four of 5-liter hand sanitizer, eight handwashing facilities with water reservoirs, and 1.000 non-medical masks made by the company's fostered partners in the Masukau Village.
"The assistance will later be distributed to Health Office, volunteers, and communities affected by COVID - 19," said Field Manager Zulfikar Akbar as he symbolically handed over the assistance at the Tabalong Regent office, Tuesday (April 28, 2020). He was accompanied by Asisten Manager of Legal and Relation Galih Pradikta Mochtar.
Previously, the oil and gas company distributed food packages worth Rp35 million to 175 people affected by the coronavirus.
Including financial support to the Environment Office in the handling of COVID-19 and Medical Workers Care Program (PETIS) in the form of additional nutrition for medical personnel.

Tabalong Regent Anang Syakhfiani expressed his appreciation for PT Pertamina Aset 5 Tanjung Field in supporting effort to prevent the spread of the pandemic virus.
“Thanks to Pertamina, we appreciate and hope that this pandemic will end soon, and the people of Tabalong to resume their activities," Anang said.
Pertamina EP Tanjung is one of the upstream oil and gas Cooperation Contract Contractors (KKKS) operating under the supervision of the Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities(SKK Migas). It works on the country's energy need from the South and Central Kalimantan region.
