The Tapin District Government proposed the construction of two roads infrastructure with a total cost of Rp460 billion in the Regional Development Planning Forum (Musrenbang) for preparing the 2021 South Kalimantan Provincial Working Plan (RKPD).
Tapin Regent HM Arifin Arpan in his statement to the media crews said the proposal submitted included the construction of the road from Pandahan Village to Margasari to go through Barito Kuala (Batola) District with a budget of Rp210 billion.
The second is the construction of road from Margasari to Buas-Buas, to continue to South Hulu Sungai District and will go through Central Kalimantan with a proposed budget of Rp250 billion.
"Actually the length of the two roads is almost the same, about 17 kilometers, but the road from Margasari to Buas-buas to go through Central Kalimantan has a heavier terrain, so the budget we propose is bigger," said the regent at the Bappelitbangda Tapin Office, Tuesday (April 28, 2020).
But for the proposed construction of road from Pandangan Village to Margasari to go through Batola, he said, DPR RI (the House of Representatives) has budgeted it for 2021 amounting to Rp50 billion.
"It was immediately answered by a member of the House's Commission 5 from South Kalimantan M Rifqinizamy Karsayuda that for Pandahan-Margasari road has budgeted for Rp50 billion in 2021," said Arifin Arpan.

He explained that the construction of inter-regencies and provinces road infrastructure is very useful, one of which to support Tapin as a national food barn.
"The road will certainly be helpful in the distribution of agriculture products from Tapin to neighboring districts and as a buffer for the food need of the new capital later," he said.
The musrenbang in the framework of the 2021 provincial working plan was carried out through video conference and led by the head of South Kalimantan Development Planning Board (Bappeda) Nurul Fajar Desira.
