Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Banjarbaru Police Unit Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (Satresnarkoba) arrested two shabu-shabu couriers.

Banjarbaru Police Chief AKBP Riko Sunarko on Saturday said the two suspects secured Saturday (22/2) morning in front of Citra Raya Complex, Syamsudin Noor Village, with evidence of methamphetamine (shabu-shabu) package.

"Two suspects initials FR and WY, both aged 19 years, were secured with shabu-shabu weighing 0.25 grams package," said Banjarbaru Police Chief accompanied by Chief of Narcotics Unit Police AKP Tukiman.

He said the two suspects suspected to be long enough running their activities, so the officer attempted to catch them through disguises.

Tukiman described, the arrest was after an undercover officer pretending to order methamphetamine and both agreed the transactions to be conducted in front of the complex.

"The two suspects managed to deliver the goods at the agreed meeting point. Soon we convinced the two were couriers, police directly searched and found methamphetamine," he said.

Police are still developing methamphetamine trafficking involving the two suspects to reveal network who is supplier in illicit goods.
