Residents of Argomulyo Village, Bintang Ara Sub-district, Tabalong, received rice assistance from the local Social Agency.
In the first phase, each resident received 15 kilograms of rice, then they will help with basic necessities to ease their daily life during Ramadhan.
"There 63 residents affected by Coronavirus outbreak who have received the first stage of rice assistance," explained Argomulyo Village Chief Teguh Prayitno.
In addition to Argomulyo, the Tabalong Social Agency also distributed rice aid to several sub-districts, including Tanta, Banua Lawas, and Haruai.
Residents, who were confirmed positive for COVID-19 also received rice assistance, said Acting Head of Social Agency Yuhani.

There are currently five positive Corona patients in the district, and one of them has declared recovered.
"We have recorded positive patients as recipients of rice assistance and some of the affected residents are still registering," Yuhani explained.
The Tabalong District Government prepared 100 tons of rice to help people affected by COVID-19, who are spread across 12 sub-districts.
The rice aid was directly handed over to the residents' houses under the supervision of Babinsa (a village supervisory non-commissioned officer) and Bhabinkamtibnas (Public order police officer).
