Secretary of Health Agency, who is concurrently spokesperson of the Central Hulu Sungai (HST) COVID-19 Task Force, Sakdillah, revealed three more people were positively reactive based on a rapid test, Friday (April 17, 2020).


"At the moment, one person has been picked up and quarantined at the H Damanhuri District Hospital in Barabai. While the other two are quarantined in their respective home independently," Sakdillah said.

The three people status, according to him, were still People Without Symptoms (OTG) and will subsequently undergo a swab test.

Previously, three people have also been confirmed positive from the result of the swab test. They are currently quarantined at the H Damanhuri Hospital.

Sakdillah added the HST case finding can be said to be a local transmission. But for the determination of the status, he would still coordinate with the South Kalimantan Health Office.

At a press conference on Thursday (April 16), HST Regional Secretary H A Tamzil stated that like it or not, the district had entered the red zone, because it had found three positive cases of COVID-19.

"It is our duty together to take the best possible handling measures to break the chain of the transmission," he said.

The development of the COVID-19 case in HST released by Informatics and Communication Agency was sourced from HST Health Office dated April 17, 2020 at 16.50 mentioned three people were confirmed positive, 27 People Under Monitoring (ODP) and 174 had finished monitoring.
