Dinsosnaker: Workers Must Be Registered in JKN

Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Banjarmasin City Government through the Social Welfare and Manpower Agency (Dinsosnaker) requires all workers in the city to be registered as members of the National Health Insurance (JKN) program, managed by the BPJS. 

"I ask that all workers who receive wages to be in JKN and with premium or contribution paid by the company they work for," said Agus Surono, head of Dinsosnaker on Sunday.

Dinsosnaker kept trying that the rights can be obtained by workers, especially those who live and work in this city. If not registered, then Dinsosnaker ready to accept the report and asked the company to register so that they get health insurance, said Agus Surono.

So far, most companies registered their employees through the Jamsostek's health insurance. But with mandatory workers enter JKN through BPJS Health, then it always reminded that the company was not negligent.

Banjarmasin government does not want in the future if there are problems arise that employee or worker get no health care at the hospital, because the company does not register them to BPJS Health.

As is known, the government has set the amount of contributions to BPJS health for workers and nonworkers consisting of three classes of contributions called nominal fee, ie Rp25,000 per month for class three of inpatient services, Rp42.500 for class two and Rp59.500 for class one inpatient services.

While the fees using the percentage of wage-workers, amounted to 4.5 percent of the employee's salary per month until June 30, 2015 and increased to 5 percent on July 1, 2015. The composition is prompted employers to pay dues of employees by 4 percent , while workers at 0.5 percent before July 1, 2015 and to 1 percent after July 1, 2015.
