Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - A robber of  Banjarmasin bjb bank, which is located on Jalan Ahmad Yani Km 3.5, finally surrended to the South Kalimantan Regional Police.

The robber on Monday said he surrendered because most of the money he robbed from the bank where he works have been lost.

He robbed money in the bank on Sunday (8/12) around 22:00. Money taken approximately Rp200 million. Most of the money he threw on bush around red light intersection on Jalan Ahmad Yani Km 2 Banjarmasin.

The money was dumped in a bag and thrown with an intent it will be taken on Monday (9/12) morning around 03.00. He intends to return home and escape the police .

However, when taking the money it had actually been lost. Because frantic and scared, he finally surrendered himself to the Ditreskrim's police.

"I rob the bank because resentful toward management where I work. If I borrowed money, the management always rejected and not accepted," he told.

Banjarmasin City Police Chief, Kombes Suharyono SH Sik said the robber turned himself in to police on Monday around 06.00 pm.

The police secured money from the robber about Rp100.800.000 and a motorcycle known to belong to the bjb Banjarmasin driver.

Now that he was under investigation in the Police Criminal Investigation Unit Banjarmasin and subsequent detention.
The offender for the offense would be charged under article 365 the Code of Penal (KUHP) About Theft with Violence with a penalty of 15 years, said Suharyono.
