Rowing Team Banjarmasin Select East Java

Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Banjarmasin Rowing Team which will be deployed in the Provincial Sports Week IX to choosing East Java as sparring trial to consolidate preparation to grab at least 32 gold medals.

To retain the title of Champion at IX Provincial Sports Week (Porprov) in Banjar District in next December 2013, Banjarmasin KONI (National Sport Committee) hold out trial for all sports to be contested later.

Banjarmasin rowing coach Midhan admitted intentionally chose East Java rowing team as sparring partner for

commensurate with the power of Banjarmasin rowing team.

"The plan Wednesday ( 13/11 ) we will go to Surabaya to try out with the East Java rowing team," said Midhan.

Banjarmasin champion rowing team planned to conduct sparring training with East Java's Rowing team as much as two stages.

The first phase will be conducted in East Java and the second phase will in South Kalimantan precisely in the former Lake Excavation of PT Galuh Cempaka Banjarbaru to be used as a sports venue for Porprov IX.

"The plan is in December 11 to 16 later Java rowing team will do trial again with the Banjarmasin rowing team in 

Banjarbaru, as they prepare to face National Championship," he said.

Tests to Java itself does not involve all Banjarmasin paddle team, but only took the Canoieng (Canoe and Kayak). While Banjarmasin Dragon Boat team enough to trial with Tanah Bumbu (Tanbu) rowing team.
