Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Population data validation by the South Kalimantan Central Statistics Agency (BPS) is still constrained by geography and vast territory.

The South Kalimantan BPS chief Dyan Pramono Effendi here on  Wednesday revealed, population data generated by BPS has so far not valid. "The reason is because the recording experienced geographical constraints and a very broad and changing conditions," he said.

Changes in such condition, added the former Head of Public Relations of BPS RI, among others, there is no data voters who turned out he was not qualified so the data needs to be improved.

The data is still incorrect, he added, is now in the process of repair and data collection, so that by 2014 all Pemilu required data is ready.

Dyan statement was delivered shortly after taking office as South Kalimantan Province BPS chief replacing Iskandar Zulkarnain. He was sworn by the Governor of South Kalimantan in Banjarmasin, 

Dyan is committed to continue the program as implemented by previous leaders, and strive to improve the data quality and more appropriate. *** 4 ***
