The Regent of South Hulu Sungai (HSS) H.Achmad Fikry, M.AP and Director of the District Hospital of Brig.Gen.H.Hasan Basry Kandangan Hj. Rasyidah M.Kes welcomed the arrival of surveyors team from Hospital Accreditation Commission (KARS).   


The regent said, for four days of survey there will be a lot inputs and suggestions from the team to the hospital. What ever the result of the survey it will be a meaningful input for him as a decision maker.

Likewise the team, he asked them not to hesitate to convey things those are necessary for the improvement of the Kandangan District Hospital.

HSS government, he pointed out, keeps its effort  to move forward, to provide the best service to patients. Especially, the Kandangan Hospital has quite a lot of medical specialists and sub-specialists.

"This is one of form of the HSS government effort to continue to provide the best service for the public," he remarked as he welcomed the team, Monday (Nov 11, 2019).

Meanwhile, the surveyors, which consisted of Rahaju Budhi Muyanto, Ali Budi Harsono, Hj. Wiwik M. Abu Bakar and Djuariah Chanafie applied National Accreditation Standards for Hospitals (SNARS) in their assessment. The aims is to improve quality in service, quality improvement, and patient safety (PMKP) in the Kandangan Hospital.

The hospital accreditation itself is a process of improving the quality of service carried out continuously by the hospital. The accreditation is also an acknowledgment of quality service of the hospital after the evaluation that the hospital met the standars of accreditation.

The welcoming event was also attended by Head of HSS Health Agency Hj. Siti Zainab, the board of supervisory as well as doctors and staff of the Brig.Gen. H.Hasan Basry Kandangan Hospital.
