Mayor Will Not Accept Parcel

Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Banjarmasin Mayor Haji Muhidin will not receive the Lebaran parcel to obey Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) circular on the prohibition to all officers to receive parcel.

"Before becoming public official I did receive and also send parcels everywhere, but after serving as mayor, I sure would not receive parcel again," said Haji Muhidin here on Tuesday.

According to the mayor, now an official banned on receiving parcels, because it violates the provisions. He said the ban not apply to him alone, but it certainly applies to all city government officials.

If these restrictions are violated, he feared it could cause problems, so he expects all officials to obey and not to get into trouble.

While THR (special Idul Fitri allowance  for civil Servants) in Pemko Banjarmasin according to the mayor also not allowed for it was not budgeted, because they already receive a 13th salary and local allowances.***2 ***
