The University of Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) in cooperation with Briton English Education held "Cambridge English Placement Test" for its new students of the academic of 2019-2020 to realize a quality graduates who will be able to compete globally,
"We in cooperation with the University of Cambridge give international certificate for students especially for English skill," ULM Rector Prof Dr Sutarto Hadi here on Saturday.
Sutarto himself came to review the test held at the Computer Lab in PGSD of Teaching Education Faculty (FKIP). He said by holding the international certificate from Cambridge English Qualifications all ULM graduates will no doubt to be successful and compete either in domestic or abroad.

"The certificate could also be used for a requirements in applying for study visa or for work in several countries like Australia, England, and others, because it is accepted and recognized by more than 20,000 organization globally," he pointed out.
About 2,000 students took part in the English language test as a first step in integrating international-base curriculum to prepare students, especially in English language skill.

The next step is, the students who follow the placement test will be given training to focus in their readiness to face world of work or a higher education'
Meanwhile, Sutarto plans to leave for England on October 21, 2019 to follow up the signing of collaboration with the University of Cambridge.
