The Kotabaru District Government distributed some assistance from the central government to help supporting the economic of residents in Hampang Sub-district, Tuesday (17/9).

The assistance consisted of a package of gurame cultivation for Garuda Farmers Group in Hampang, 65 points of solar cell street lamp for Peramasan Village from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).

Other assistance was 2,240 stems of palm oil seedling for Sumber Panca Farmers Group of Lalapin Village, and a submission of 201 meter long of plantation production road for Limbungan Village residents.

Regent H Sayed Jafar, when handed over the aid, stated that the district government will keep on struggling for the progress of the people of Kotabaru.

"So please, use and maintain this assistance the best as possible to be really benefit and prosperous," he insisted.

The regent also asked residents to keep on synergize with the government to build and develop the district. "Let us together develop Kotabaru to be even more advance," he concluded.

The distribution of the government assistance was attended by deputy speaker and members of legislative council (DPRD), head of government agencies, PKK chairwoman, head of Hampang Sub-district, head of  Kelumpang Hulu Sub-disrtict, and head of Kelumpang Hilir Sub-disrtict, the local leaders coordination forum, religious figures and community.
