The Regional Hajj Health Team (TKHD) keeps monitoring the health condition of hajj pilgrim after they arrived home in order to anticipate the possibility spread of dangerous disease. 

Head of Kloter (flight group) 09 Banjarmasin Embarkation H Mansur, accompanied by TKHD officer dr Aswin, said here on Friday, hajj pilgrim should report himself if he find a change in body temperature heat or high fever.

Kloter 09 have arrived home early this week. They consisted of 323 hajj pilgrim from the District of Kotabaru, Central Hulu Sungai, and Banjarmasin.

"The pilgrim whose body temperature fever must check him/herself to the nearest public health center (puskesmas)," he emphasized.

In addition to treatment, he said, this is to make it easy for health attendant to monitor intensively the hajj pilgrim who suffer high fever.

"The health monitor will last for 14 to 21 days after arriving home," he said.

To assist the handling of pilgrim health, he added, the Ministry of Health through the South Kalimantan Health Team has distributed sheets in alert to meningococcal meningitis, Mers-Cov and Ebola to all group 9 pilgrims who arrived at the Banjarmasin Debarkation on Tuesday (3/9) in the morning around 03.30 WITA.
