Governor Sahbirin Noor said here Tuesday that his party would take strategic steps to continue the acceleration of the construction of the bridge connecting the main land of Kalimantan and Pulau Laut (Laut Island).

The steps include holding a coordination meeting with the Kotabaru and Tanah Bumbu District Governments on Monday (2/9) 2019.

The meeting attended by Kotabaru Regent H Sayed Jafar and Tanah Bumbu H Regent Sudian Noor and related agencies discussed the financing scheme for accelerating bridge construction.

"The government is currently working hard to complete the construction of the connecting bridge which is the desire of the people," he said.

Related to financing, said the Governor, the provincial government will cooperate with the central government, district government and third parties.

"I think everything can be resolved if we want to work together, based on agreement and applicable regulations," he said.

Head of the South Kalimantan Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency Roy Rizali Anwar said, the composition of the sharing of bridge financing is planned to consist of the state budget (APBN) and provincial budget (APBD). Then the Tanah Bumbu and the Kotabaru budget (APBD) and third party funds, such as CSR, investors and through government-to-business (KPBU) schemes.

"Estimated funds from the APBN Rp1 trillion, South Kalimantan Province APBD Rp500 billion, Tanah Bumbu Rp250 billion, Kotabaru Rp250 billion, and third parties namely CSR or investor funds and KPBU Rp1.6 trillion, bringing the total to Rp3.6 trillion," he said.

Regent of Tanah Bumbu Sudian Noor said he was ready to support the financing scheme that was formulated together.

"We are ready to support, we come in full force," he said.
