The first hajj pilgrims from Banjarmasin Embarkation is scheduled to arrive back home on August 20, 2019. They will be flown from King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah to Syamsudin Noor Airport in Banjarbaru.
Head of Hajj and Umrah Division of South Kalimantan Office of Religious Affairs Ministry H Matnor here on Sunday said the first flight group to arrive are hajj pilgrims from Banjarmasin and South Hulu Sungai (HSS).
"The departure of the first flight group is schedule at 00.00 Saudi time and expected to arrive here at 16.00 pm on August 20, 2019," he said.
All hajj pilgrims have been preparing so far, after they have finished
all process of hajj pilgrimage. "They currently are making some visit or taking rest to restrore stamina after carrying out quite tiring worship," he remarked.
Meanwhile, base on the report on the implementation of hajj pilgrimage in the Holy Land, three haj pilgrims have died from Banjarmasin Embarkation plus another one when he was about to depart.
The last who passed away was Darmawi Antar Taip (76) of flight group 13 from Kotawaringin Timur, Central Kalimantan on Agust 12, 2019 at the
Indonesia Haj Health Clinics (KKHI) in Mekkah, Saudi Arabia.
While the two others were Siti Hawariyah Utuh Hasan (93), from flight group 19 Banjarmasin, died after wukuf (the peak of hajj pilgrimage) in Arafah, and Nasram Saleh Saat bin Saleh (62) from Tabalong died in Mekkah.
