Banjarmasin (South Kalimantan Antaranews) - Banjarmasin Police Narcotics Investigation Unit arrested two cannabis dealers in two different places in the district of Banjar (South Kalimantan).

Head of the Police Narcotics Investigation Unit of Banjarmasin Kompol  Efrizal Sik, through the Chief Unit II, Iptu Diki Hermawan in Banjarmasin, on Monday said the two dealers were arrested by the day and different places.

First, the police arrested AK (34), resident of RT 6 Jalan Masjid, Pasangan Utara Village, Banjar District, with evidence in hand two packages of marijuana leaves weighing 17.81 grams. He was arrested on Thursday (25/4) at around 12:30 pm in the area of Jalan Ahmad Yani Km 41.

Friday (26/4) at around 17:30 pm, police after the arrest of AK, arrested AA, at Km 10 Jalan Lama Martapura Sungai Tabuk Village, Banjar District. The second offender was arrested along with evidence as much as 2 packages of marijuana leaves.

AA (36), a resident of Sungai Andai, North Banjarmasin, directly questioned by police, and admitted he still had 5 more packages cannabis at his residence. The police straight to AA house and found marijuana leaf which were hidden next to the cupboard in the bedroom. So that the evidence secured from both the suspected as much as 7 package weighing 29 grams.

Of both dealers of ready dried marijuana leaves, police securing evidence weighing 46.81 grams of cannabis leaf. Both are currently under examination from the investigator for further legal proceedings. Both were threatened with the penalty of a minimum of four years and a fine of billions of rupiah.
