Banjarmasin - Ciko Bonny Johanda, grade XI student of state high school SMAN 1 Banjarmasin, won first place in the 2019 Safety Care Student Capacity Building, with his creation a smart helmet.


The introduction and launch of PSK (Put One Click) helmet was held by the of South Kalimantan Transportation Agency at the Siring Menara Pandang attraction in Banjarmasin City, Sunday.

"The promotion of helmet use created by this achieving student is our full support and is expected to inspire other young people to be creative," said the Head of South Kalimantan Transportation Agency Rusdiansyah.

South Kalimantan Provincial Secretary Abdul Haris Makkie who attended the event appreciated the national achievements that were successfully inscribed by Ciko Bonny Johanda.

"Ciko's work certainly has been recognized nationally because he became the first winner in the National LLAJ (Traffic and Land Transportation) Safety Pioneer Student Selection," he said.

Head of Sub-Directorate of Kamsel, Directorate of Traffic of South Kalimantan Regional Police AKBP Nina Rahmi said she would also fully support the socialization of the use of helmets.

In every traffic safety socialization, she said, her staff did not get bored to remind the public to choose a standard helmet and use it in the right way.

"In using the correct standard helmet, make sure the chin buckle is attached until it clicks," Nina stressed.

Ciko who represented South Kalimantan managed to set aside 40 delegates from a number of provinces in Indonesia, consisting of 16 men and 24 women, at the 2019 Road Safety Care Students Capacity Building event held by the Directorate General of Land Transportation, Ministry of Transportation.
