Deputy Mayor of Banjarbaru Darmawan Jaya Setiawan appreciated the construction of Sultan Agung Banjarbaru Islamic Hospital at the Citra Graha Housing Complex in Km 17 Banjarbaru.


"We appreciate this because it will add health services to people who need help and care for their diseases," said the deputy mayor in Banjarbaru on Sunday.

He said, he attended the tabligh akbar for collecting waqf funds used for the construction of the hospital. The activity with the theme "Waqf Enhancing the Welfare of the Ummah" was also attended by Expert Staff for the Economy and Development of South Kalimantan Provincial Government Achmad Sofian and Chair of the Sultan Agung Waqf Foundation (YBWSA) Hasan Toha Putra.

Also seen was scholars who were familiarly called Guru Zuhdi and the owner of the residential area Norhin and hundreds of other invitations.

"We hope that the existence of this Islamic hospital will further improve health services, education, and the development of Islamic civilization towards a healthy and prosperous society blessed by Allah," he said.

Expert Staff for Economics and Development Achmad Sofian representing South Kalimantan Governor Sahbirin Noor said that this grand meeting was a momentum to strengthen the relationship between various parties.

He hopes that the construction of Sultan Agung Islamic Hospital will be completed soon, so that it can provide good health services for the people of Banjarbaru, and the citizens of South Kalimantan as well.
