Banjarmasin Police Chief Sr. Comr Drs Sumarto M.Sc conducts checks related to preparedness of officers on guard at security posts, service posts and integrated posts in the 2019 Ketupat Intan Operation on D + 3 Eid al-Fitr 1440 Hijri.
"This is the duty of the leadership to see the situation in the field, one of them is by checking the members who are on guard at the post and giving motivation, enthusiasm to all of them," he said on Friday.
The police chief started around 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. checked the security post of the Main Terminal of KM 6, then to Kayutangi roundabout security post.
He continued to the integrated post of Trisakti Harbor, the passenger terminal area of Trisakti Port, the Merdeka Bridge security post, Sudimampir security post, and the Duta Mall service post.
"One by one, I check to see the guard personnel. Alhamdulillah, they all carry out their duties responsibly," said the middle officer.
To provide motivation and enthusiasm for personnel, Sumarto gave gifts to representatives of guard officers at each security post, service posts and integrated posts.
"Hopefully the situation in Banjarmasin City will remain safe, comfortable and conducive and members who are on guard remain healthy and always under the protection of Allah SWT," said the 1991 Police Academy alumnus.
