South Kalimantan Regional Police Chief Inspector General Yazid Fanani confirmed the flow of Lebaran homecoming (mudik) until Monday (3/6) or D-2 went well with the situation being conducive.


He spoke to reporters while monitoring the Trisakti Harbor, the Km-6 Main Terminal, Syamsudin Noor Airport, and a number of the 2019 Ketupat Intan Operation service posts.

"Alhamdulillah everything went well until now, there are no obstacles or prominent events have caused disruption to public security and order. Hopefully this conducive atmosphere will continue until after Lebaran," he said.

Starting his visit with the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), the Police Chief visited Trisakti Harbor and went straight to the Eid Integrated Transportation Command Post.

There, he got an explanation from the Port Sector Police Chief AKP Reza Ma'rufi and the Head of the Port Authority (KSOP) Bambang Gunawan.

From the reports of the authorized officers, it was ascertained all travelers will be transported. In fact, there were two reserve ships prepared if there are still travelers on Tuesday (4/6) or D-1.

The last ship departed for Surabaya on Monday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. was the Dharma Kartika IX owned by PT Dharma Lautan Utama with a total of 1,500 passengers.
