The District Government of Kotabaru again won the unqualified (WTP) opinion for its 2018 financial report by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) of the South Kalimantan Representative.


Regent H Sayed Jafar on Saturday, in a press release, said this WTP opinion was the fourth time in a row received by the Kotabaru District Government.

"Alhamdulillah, this is the most beautiful gift for Kotabaru District on the 69th anniversary and also the blessing of the month of Ramadan," said the regent.

Sayed Jafar advised all SKPDs (government agency) in Kotabaru could be further improved the financial statements in order to obtain the fifth WTP.

Head of the Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) H Abdul Kadir revealed the WTPs achieved by the Kotabaru thanks to the encouragement and motivation of the Regent of Kotabaru to the SKPD in preparing the report.

Kadir explained there were several records from the BPK to all districts and cities, including Kotabaru, which had to be repaired and as soon as possible followed up within a time limit of 60 days after the LHP was submitted.

"To all SKPD in using budget (APBD) funds must be in accordance with applicable laws and can be accounted for, so there are no more findings," he ordered.
