Appreciation is given to stakeholders in the ESDM sector, both individuals, groups, and governments at the central and regional levels.Jakarta, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) presented the 2018 Subroto Award to South Kalimantan Provincial Government for energy efficiency achievement at the regional government level.
The award was given by ESDM Minister Ignasius Jonan to South Kalimantan Deputy Governor H Rudy Resnawan at XXI-Djakarta Theater Ballroom, Friday (9/28) evening
The Subroto Award is the highest award in the field of energy and mineral resources to commemorate the 73rd Mining and Energy Day.
Appreciation is given to stakeholders in the ESDM sector, both individuals, groups, and governments at the central and regional levels. It includes journalist, who contributes in supporting the EMR sector.
Subroto himself was the Minister of Mines and Energy in 1978-1988.
For the South Kalimantan Provincial Government, this year's Subroto award is the third since 2016. Two years earlier, South Kalimantan won the first and second champion of hope. This year he won the 3rd place after Central Java and Riau.
The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources said the success of South Kalimantan and other regions in obtaining the Subroto Award was inseparable from the regulation and commitment of regional leaders to implement energy efficiency continuously in the administration of the government.
