Kandangan, South Kalimantan(AntaranewsKalsel) - The South Hulu Sungai Regent H Acmad Fikry yesterday (28/12) opened the Village Innovation Exchange, an event held by the local administration through the Village Community Empowerment Agency (Dinas PMD).
Head of Community Empowerment Division of the agency Bardiana Hernani in Kandangan on Thursday (28/12) said the village innovation exchange is a forum for dissemination and exchange of initiatives or innovations that develop in the villages.
"The basis for this activity is the decree of the Director-General for Development and Empowerment of Villagers, Ministry of Villages, Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia, 12 September 2017," he said.
He explained that the purpose of the activity is to disseminate basic information related to Village Innovation Program (PID) in general, as well as Village Innovation Grant (VIG) in particular. In addition, it informs the activity plan, the program actors at the district, sub-district and village levels, introducing the initiatives or innovations of the developing community in the villages.
Regent H Achmad Fikry said innovation is something new, not adopted, and if you want to innovate must first know the problem then determine what can be done to overcome the problem.
"Although innovations may be created similar, there must be different, this is in accordance with our directives to work in the ranks of HSS District Government think what should be, not what it is," he said when opening the village innovation exchange in Pramuka Building, Kandangan, Thursday.
He urged the village head and his ranks compete in innovation, resulting in various innovations in the village. At least 144 (number of villages in the district) innovations in HSS, which is different in nature according to the characteristics of each village.
Present in the opening of the event Vice Regent H Ardiansyah, Speaker of DPRD Syamsuri Arsyad and the heads of related agencies (SKPD), the subdistrict heads across HSS.
