Head of Supply Division of Indonesian Haj Management Committee (PPIH) Banjarmasin Zainal Muttaqin said, "56 suitcases were unpacked, namely 28 suitcases of flight group 1 who had been departed, and 28 from flight group 2."

He explained that goods were not allowed to be taken to the plane, because they contain metal and are feared to endanger the flight and must be left in the haj dormitory.

"All the metal stuff were left in haj boarding house and we submit to local Office of Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) to facilitate if any family take the goods," he said.
