Tanjung, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Three works of junior high school (SMP) students in Tabalong won finalist in Science Project Olympiad held by Adaro Bangun Negeri Foundation (YABN).
According to representative of YABN Agung Nugroho, there are 10 schools in South Kalimantan who win finalist in the Science Project Olympiad junior school level.
"In addition to the junior level, the Science Olympic Project also competing primary school students, each has 10 finalists," said Agung in Tanjung Monday.
Three works of finalist of Science Project Olympiad are two works of SMP Negeri 3 Kelua and one from SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung.
One joint works by Nurul Azizah and Lidia Novianti from SMP Negeri 3 Kelua was a form of utilization of shell egg waste as organic fertilizer.

"Shells waste, chemical fertilizers, burning ashes, and ordinary soil were tested on crops of beans," said Lidia.
Other work was the selection of plants around the school and the home as an indicator of acid-base and iron.
Including assembling HP charger using bicycle dynamo as alternative energy by students of SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung.
Other finalists in the Science project Olympiad are contentants from Banjar District, Kotabaru, and Banjarbaru.
Furthermore, the work of the finalists will be judged by a jury of Rumah Sains Ilma Eva Nurnisya and Abdullah Muji Marpaung and of FKIL ULM Arief Solahuddin.
Additionally, YABN invited former Research and Technology Minister Gusti Muhammad Hatta as a honorary judge at the Science Project Olympiad.
