Batulicin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Ziyadatul Abrar floating mosque presented by Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of PT PT Borneo Indobara (BIB) for the people of Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan, is ready to be inaugurated and used.
The mosque, that will become one of the icon of the religious tourism of Tanah Bumbu, will be inaugurated on November 26, 2023 by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) together with PT BIB and the Tanah Bumbu District Government.
"The mosque will be officiated on November 26, 2023 and attended by Ministry officials, regional officials, the community and PT BIB's partners or contractors," said General Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility and Empowerment of PT BIB Dindin Makinudin in Batulicin, Wednesday.

He said the process of building the floating mosque, which began in 2020 until finishing, had gone through feasibility test at every stage of the work.
It was done to maximize the quality, considering that the building is located in a sea area that precision was needed in the work process.
The floating mosque has two main multi-storey buildings. The first floor will be used as a multi-purpose room, classrooms, and secretariat, while the second floor is designed as a place of worship with a capacity of 500 pilgrims.
Dindin expounded that the floating mosque construction program had been synchronized with the 2022 RPJMD or the regional development plan.
"Please pray for us that the ianuguration may goes smoothly and the floating mosque can benefit many people and becomes the economic wheel of the people of Tanah Bumbu and its surroundings," said Dindin.
