This proud achievement thanks to the cooperation of us all, in particular the Regent HSU's support to UKS development activities, so that HSU won LSS in two consecutive years,Amuntai, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - SDN Paliwara 1 and Puskesmas (community health center) Sungai Malang in North Hulu Sungai District won Best Performance for a healthy school and school health coaching (UKS) in national level.
SDN Paliwara 1 won second for category of SD/MI (elementary school) in the Healthy Schools Competition (LSS), while Puskesmas Sungai Malang won second for UKS.
The awards were given by four ministry officials accepted by the Principal of SDN Paliwara 1 Amuntai Indah Pariatni and UKS manager of Puskesmas Sungai Malang Abdi Taufan Heriyadi in Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel, Jakarta, Thursday.
Trophy and cash prize of Rp25 million earned by SDN Paliwara 1 and Puskesmas Sungai Malang.
Chairman of the North Hulu Sungai Family Welfare Movement (PKK) Anisah Rasyidah Wahid in Jakarta on Thursday said her grateful for the district won two national awards.
"This proud achievement thanks to the cooperation of us all, in particular the Regent HSU's support to UKS development activities, so that HSU won LSS in two consecutive years," said Anisah.
She said head of the district support is very important for the development of UKS. Hopefully, by the joint policy of four ministries in the development of this UKS increasing role of regional head.
The previous year SDN Baruh Tabing in Banjang Sub-district also won second place in LSS for Best Achievement.
Other South Kalimantan representative namely MTsN Ampukung from Tabalong won second place for Best Achievement in 2016 LSS.
