He said, for the continuation of construction of the bridge, the provincial government will again allocate funds on a 2017 South Kalimantan Budget (APBD).
But he did not mention the budget allocation plan for the continuation of construction of the longest bridge in South Kalimantan, except to say since 2015 until now the local administration has been expended Rp60 billion more funds.
Similarly, the district government of Kotabaru has spent Rp50 billion from the local budget for the bridge which crossing the Pulaulaut Strait.
While the Tanah Bumbu regency planned to allocate funds in fiscal year of 2017 for the construction of a bridge connecting the Kalimantan mainland from Tanah Bumbu to Pulau Laut, where the capital city of Kotabaru district.
Regarding the central government aid to the construction of the Kotabaru bridge, he admitted that until now there has been no assistance fund. "To get the central fund we first have to submit the results of research that gets recommendation from an independent team (comprised of Long Bridge Commission)." he said.
According to him, the research results God willing will be completed in three months and submitted to the central government through the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing.
