"The research by students of SMAN 1 Jorong still far from perfect, so it requires guidance, direction, and advice from the related parties," said the extracurricular coaching teacher of SMAN 1 Jorong Karyati in Pelaihari, Thursday.
According to her, simple electricity generator developed by SMAN 1 Jorong students was named KITTRIKLUS capable of generating 30 watts of electrical power.
She explained that the raw materials used for the simple power generation comes from electronic waste.
Separately, Regent Tanah Laut Bambang Alamsyah admitted to be impressed and proud of the work of students of SMAN 1 Jorong were capable to create a simple power generation from waste materials named KITTRIKLUS.
According to him, the work of the students need to be followed-up by related working unit (SKPD) to developed into an alternative power source.
He insisted electricity is a vital requirement, including increasing needs of electric energy in Tanah Laut.
Then, he said, as a token of appreciation to students of SMAN 1 Jorong, Tanah Laut regency to provide direct assistance to developing simple electric power that could be generate larger watt.
With the help given, regents hopes, SMAN 1 Jorong can develop a simple electrical power able to increase electric power of 1,500 watts.
