Some of the witnesses we've examined, especially who firstly found the dead body,Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Water Police Unit (Satpolair) of Banjarmasin City Police is investigating the discovery of unidentified corpse floating on the Teluk Mendung River at the back waters of PT Austral Bina.
"Some of the witnesses we've examined, especially who firstly found the dead body," said Head of the Satpolair AKP Untung Widodo Sstin Banjarmasin on Saturday.
He said the body of a male without identity was found on Saturday (30/1) morning at around 8:10 in the back waters of the Austral PT Bina floating near the wooden log raft.
"The first time we get reports from the public and immediately went to the scene as a form of quick response," he said.
Untung said, after arriving to the scene the water police personnel immediately conducted an investigation and collect data and information from witnesses.
Not long after some investigations on the ground, Satpolair personnel and combined emergency assisted by local residents immediately evacuated the body to the Ulin Hospital morgue.
"The body was evacuated to Ulin General Hospital morgue for autopsy for the sake of the investigation," said the man who is familiar premises the media crew.
