Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Yellow Notice issued by Interpol for West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil's son, Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz, or Eril, who went missing in Aare River, Bern, Switzerland, is still active, according to the National Police (Polri).
It is known that Kamil's family had declared to have accepted God's destiny. The family had returned to Indonesia after a seven-day search.
"The Yellow Notice is not closed until the object is found, according to information from the National Central Bureau’s (NCB’s) Interpol," head of the public relations division of the National Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, confirmed in Jakarta on Friday.
The Yellow Notice does not have a time limit and its publication will continue until Eril is found, he explained.
"The Yellow Notice request will be closed based on a request from Interpol (NCB) if the object is found," Prasetyo added.

A Yellow Notice is a global police alert for a missing person. It is published for victims of parental abductions, criminal abductions, or in case of unexplained disappearances.
Meanwhile, Polri is continuing to coordinate with the Swiss police and the local Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) to monitor the case.
"Police continue to monitor Eril's search with local police," Prasetyo informed.
Earlier, Polri had said that the Interpol had issued a Yellow Notice for Eril.
The notice contained personal identification data on Eril and his parents, including the date of birth and physical characteristics such as skin color, eye color, hair, height, and weight. It also included information on the color of clothes he wore when he went missing as well as Eril's photograph.
The Yellow Notice was published on June 1, 2022. Eril is believed to have disappeared in Aare River in Bern, Switzerland, at noon local time on May 26, 2022.
