Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - A total of 73 cooperatives in the city of Banjarmasin dissolved or their legal entity revoked because of no longer in operation.


Chairman of the Regional Council of Cooperative Indonesia Banjarmasin Sumarno here on Friday said the dissolution of the cooperatives, because of inactivity in terms of management and administration.

"By years of no activity. It's not fair, while a minimum of once a year there should be a meeting between members," he said.

In fact, according to Sumarno, now also processed about 70 other cooperatives considered suspended animation also will be dissolved in addition to 73 cooperatives that have been dissolved.

"This is unfortunate, because set up a cooperative is not easy, many conditions, but who already built not even maintained. We are very concerned," he explained.
