Kandangan, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The District Secretary of South Hulu Sungai (HSS) H. Muhammad Noor said he is optimistic the vaccination target of the district will be achieved.
“The South Kalimantan Forkopimda (leadership communication forum) agreed to carry out more massive vaccination throughout the province, including HSS. Insya Allah (God Willing) we will follow up in the field with relevant agencies,” he said, Wednesday, when with the local forkopimda attending the vidcon on the development of South Kalimantan COVID-19 vaccination, Wednesday from HSS Police office.
HSS, he said, scheduled September 18, 2021 to begin mass vaccination, with assistance from palm oil companies as many as 50 thousand doses for the community.
Thus, HSS optimistic that the achievement will be higher than the South Kalimantan government expected. The vaccines will be administered to public services, students, the elderly, and children aged 8 to 12 years.
HSS Deputy Police Chief Reinaldo said the vaccination program is a strategic step in an effort to cut the chain of the spread of COVID-19.
“The point is if the vaccine is available we will immediately inoculate. Specifically for HSS Police, the target is 800 doses per day. We will carry it out every day both at the resort police and the sector police,” he said.
Meanwhile, the vidcon was chaired by Governor H. Sahbirin Noor. He said that one of the efforts of the provincial government and government agencies to stem the spread of COVID-19 was by vaccination.
He hopes for good collaboration and cooperation from all parties because this is an important factor in accelerating COVID-19 vaccination.
In HSS the vidcon was attended by Chairman fo DPRD H. Akhmad Fahmie, Head of Health Agency H. Siti Zainab, Head of Kandangan Court Yunto Safarillo Hamonangan Tampubolon, Chief Intelligence of Prosecutor's Office Timbul Mangasih, and Chief Operation of HSS Police Agus Sugianto.
