Doctor Ayudiah was the only specialist who took part in the 79th doctor's oath at the Faculty of Medicine. At the same time, 11 young doctors were also inaugurated, with the best graduate dr. Riska Yuliana with 3.56 GPA.
Sutarto said the historic moment for ULM as the best public university in Kalimantan with A accreditation was a spark of enthusiasm to continue to carve existence and achievements in higher education.
He hopes that the ULM production of doctors and specialists will help people, especially in facing the difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine (FK-ULM) Dr dr H Iwan Aflanie, M.Kes, Sp.F said that PPDS was opened in 2017, and beginning this year "egg cracking" graduated a specialist doctor.
In addition to pulmonology anf respiration, there are five other programs to produce specialist doctors, namely obstetrics and gynecology, surgeon, pediatrician, internal medicine, and anesthesiologists.

FK ULM has recorded to have produced 1,819 doctors who devote their knowledge in various institutions, both in the field of health service, education and research, spread across Kalimantan and several areas outside Kalimantan.
Iwan acknowledged that the pandemic has had an impact on the decreasing number of doctors who died in duty after being exposed to COVID-19. for this reason, his party is committed to continuing to strive to produce doctors in the midst of the limitations of the lecture system.
"During the pandemic since 2020, we have graduated about 150 young doctors. Although interspersed with online learning, it did not reduce the quality of education carried out to produce the best graduation, became doctors, serve the community in the health sector," said the man who is also Chief of the ULM Acceleration Expert Team for Handling COVID-19.
