From Antaranews observation, among worshipers offering eclipse praying is the congregation of oldest mosque in Banjarmasin, Jami Mosque in Sungai Jingah Village.
Then congregation of Hasanuddin Majedi Mosque in Kayu Tangi, one of the grandest at Jalan Brigjen Hasan Basri, and Sabilal Muhtadin Mosque which became the pride of the citizens of Banjarmasin.
As is known in Islam, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught muslim to offer eclipse prayer when seeing the eclipse. This sunnah prayers began to be neglected by most Muslims.
As stated in the Word of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): ""The sun and the moon do not eclipse because of someone's death. So whenever you see these eclipses pray and invoke (Allah) till the eclipse is over." (Shahih Bukhari).
Salat-ul-Khusuf (Prayer on a lunar eclipse) consists of two Rak`ahs and in each Rak`ah one should make two recitations and perform two ruku (bowings) and two sujuds (prostrations).

phenomenon that happens quite a long time witnessed by the residents by sitting in front of the house.
One resident of Sungai Andai, North Banjarmasin, M Khairil admitted knowing the eclipse through the media, and he did not want to miss the moment to witness it.
"Very beautiful lunar eclipse this evening, most people see it in clear weather," he said.
