According to him, before the enactment of the Act, the authority Tanah Laut to manage the sea from zero to four miles away.
"While the provincial authority from four miles to 12 miles. Now with the enactment of Law No. 23/2014, the provincial authority from zero to 12 miles," he explained.
Likewise other things, he said, like sailing ship licensing, in the future is the duty and authority of the
provincial government, through the of South Kalimantan Marine and Fisheries Agency.
"Our potential in the form of sea fishing zone nearly 90 percent and 10 shipping channel is possible to be taken over by provincial government," he explained.
