Manager of PT Misaja Mitra (MM) Kotabaru, Joyo Supeno, said on Sunday, frozen shrimp exports by MM rise back with the improving international market.
"Even shrimp export reaching 100 tons per month, much larger than a few years ago," he explained.
Within a week, Joyo continued, the company sent the frozen shrimp to destination countries through the Port of Banjarmasin and Surabaya by using containers range of 607 containers per month.
Kotabaru frozen shrimp export destination, including Japan, China, Myanmar, and a number of other countries.
With the improvement of market demand for frozen shrimp origin Kotabaru, Indonesia in general, PT Misaja Mitra in 2015 target its export by 150 tons per month. MM was adding processing engine to support the target.
